Benadryl is for common cold and allergies such as runny nose, sneezing and itching.Mylanta is for heartburn, gas, stomach pain, or upset stomach.Carafate is for the healing of ulcers in the stomach and upper intestine.
When you combine equal parts of benedryl and mylanta (such as 1/2 ounce of each) and mix them together you can gargal (do not swallow it) and it will numb your throat. I use it for strep.
