It doesnt hurt, its just a little annoying. I drank alot of soda before this occured(needless to say, I dont now at all). My Doc gave me bentyl for stomach and/or bowel spasms. My Doc is clueless . The medicine seemed to make it worse. Im figuring I might need a bowel cleanser. Any body know a "remedy" for this.
I have a severe pain in my upper right side, I was in the hospital for it. They said that the CT scan showed a thickening of the intestines, but that that's not uncommon and 9 out of 10 times the colonoscopy shows nothing. Could my IBS be causing this pain? I am in my early 20's and don't want a colonoscopy. I'm really worried about the pain, it's affecting my job, and life in general. Any advice? Also I was prescribed bentyl to see if it would help, anyone else on this, how long does it take to adjust to it? I'm constantly tired and don't feel "right" ? thanks!
I'm so hungover the next day after taking it. I feel like I'm walking through mud, and my brain is cloudy. I'm feeling very depressed and like I could cry at any moment. Can Bentyl cause this?|Yes I had the same side effects with it. My dose was 4 per day and I just took 2 at bed time instead and that seemed to help.

I have no idea what Bentyl is but before your dr puts you on a drug they describe the side effects if the side effects you're having is not what they described or are more severe call your dr and have them adjust your doseage.Webmd.com should help you with the side effects.

I just had a gall stone block my common bile duct and it was removed by ERCP. That was last week. I have no stones in the gallbladder. Still have frequent nausea too. Not taking any medications for this at this time other than Bentyl PRN. Feeling really terrible.
Jennifer Shilling say: Sorry you’re feeling so poorly. My sister had the ERCP too. It really did a number on her! She also has bad diarrhea and pain. It also caused her pancreatitis to worsen, in my opinion of course no way to prove so. The ERCP is thought to be predominantly harmful there are just so many problems with symptoms after it. Anyways I am not the expert here, but my family and I did do a great deal of research on the problem and procedure. NOt much information on the net, comparatively. I hope you feel better soon
