Do you lick your lips while outside? Do you breath with your mouth open when you are in an area that is cold? Both of these could be causing your problem.CausesAngular cheilitis is most often caused by an infection—usually fungal, but it also can be viral or bacterial in origin. Other possible causes include a vitamin B deficiency, the over-closure of the mouth by someone without teeth, licking of the lips, thumb-sucking, and lip biting.Less severe cases occur when it is quite cold (such as in the winter time), and mostly happen to young children/teenagers. The child licks their lips in an attempt to provide a temporary moment of relief, worsening the condition.

I cant remember when it started maybe a year or two ago. What my problem is is that when i eat i ALWAYS have this feeling right below my adams apple which feels like a lump. Normally what happens is that i go throw up part of what i just ate then i feel better. i am taking prilosec otc which helps my acid reflux. im not really losing alot of weight maybe a little but nothing to be concerned about. The thing about it is now this is disturbing everything i do. I cant eat out with family i dont feel like going out. Basically it bums me out. Ive been to the stomach doctor and have had a scope twice with nothing found. At first my doctor thought i was allergic to wheat but that was ruled out with a bloodtest. Can anyone help me? I feel like im gonna be sick forever and i dont wanna feel this way anymore.

Zantac and Prilosac are use to treat stomach problems but Zithromax can cure it if you take it exactly as prescribe and go back to the doctor for your follow up.

Nexium works — prilosec doesn't, but the pharmacist says they are alike.

I know some people that say Zantec works better for them than prilosec.

My doctor keeps giving me medications for heart burn. I have tried many including prilosec. None work. I wake up around 3AM with pressure at my LES with air in the stomach. If I burp several times the pressure goes away. This is going on more than 1 year. Doctor tested me with endoscope and found no problem. I am looking in to alternative medicine which one I don't know.
Torrie White say: I agree with cbirdy – see a gastro enterologist specialist at the most reputable place you can find.Keep an open mind to other things – is there some form of stress on you that may be an underlying cause. When you find a specialist you trust, be open with them and ask them questions. You are their customer.
