Im confused is thre a possibility that my baby become abnormal bcoz ive been taking cytotec n my 1st month?
im juz worried if theres a side effect of cytotec bcoz i take a cytotec i have bleeding for 1 day & in 2months i went to the doctor & have a ultrasound and the baby is stil there..in first month i dont know what to do thats y i take that medicine but now i have to continue my pregnancy… im now 3 months pregy…pls help

UTERINE RUPTURE HAS BEEN REPORTED WHEN CYTOTEC WAS ADMINISTERED IN PREGNANT WOMEN TO INDUCE LABOR OR TO INDUCE ABORTION BEYOND THE EIGHTH WEEK OF PREGNANCYSo yes, there could be some birth defects. However, when your baby is large enough, your ob-gyn may be able to see the defects using ultrasound. So you might know before the birth whether there are any problems. In this case, you doctor will advise you how to proceed, and will probably help you get counsellig to deal with the emotional impact.God willing, your baby will be born healthy.

ANYTHING regarding your pregnancy should be between you and your doctor. If you have questions about, "what to expect when giving birth" or "will I bleed a lot or little when I have the baby" …..Things like that, BUT NEVER about medicine to us, we don't know what's right for you. Only your doctor does! Please ask your doctor this question! okay! Good luck!
