What Is The Difference Between Prilosec And Nexium?
I wanted to know what was the difference between Prilosec and Nexium. All I know they are both purple. Is one better than the other.

I believe it’s cost. Nexium is more expensive I think.

They are both Proton Pump Inhibitors. Slightly different in how they work. But they both do basically the same thing. Prilosec can b purchased OTC and also the generic form can be purchase even cheaper. My doctor put me on another PPI Aciphex. It worked ok, but the generic Prilosec worked just as good and was cheaper and easier for me to get.
