What Is A Natural/organic Alternative To Prilosec?
I have had horrendous heartburn for several months now and Tums hasn’t helped anymore, so the day after I started Prilosec, no more heartburn. But I hear bad stuff now, like you gain weight, your heartburn will return when it is discontinued etc.

There really aren’t any alternatives that work, let alone as well as Prilosec. Talk to your doctor about the concerns you have. It seems you got most of your information so far from rumor, perhaps it’s not as bad as you think. After all, just because someone you know gained weight on Prilosec doesn’t mean that you will, or even that it had anything to do with the medication. Good luck.

There are no alternative meds to Prilosec. It is a safe and effective medication for for heartburn and acid reflux… you do NOT gain weight while taking it unless you eat more because you feel better. Use this long term only under the guidance of a Dr.
