Mostly prescribed for Gerd….My husband has to take it because of arsenic poisoning from working with treated lumber……It keeps you from getting heartburn, or will help relive the symptoms if you have it.

it is used for heart burn or acid reflux i was prescribed that while i was pregnant for heartburn
