breast milk!! look into relactation or buying from a milk bank it will help alot. also feed sitting up and remain upright for a hour after feedinggood luck

You may want to consider a soy formula or Alimentum. My son had huge Reflux problems and it turned out he was allergic to milk protein.

Can you still breastfeed? that would be the best thing. I don't know about formulas but my son who is now 9 had scorching reflux and never ate once without spitting up wasn't diagnosed until he was like five. He gained weight normally and everything, it was the ear infections that brought him to the doctor finally. The reason I say this is because the medication REGLAN has side effects that build up over time and if you are seeing an ear-nose-throat doctor, get a second opinion with a gastroenterologist. You'll be glad you did.

My daughter has horrible acid reflux. Isomil advance (soy) with 1 teaspoon of rice cereal for every ounce of formula stops it – without meds!

My younger son was on Zantac for acid reflux. The way his dr. explained it is that it's not the formula that's responsible…it's the valve that leads into his stomach that won't close that makes him spit up and be in pain. For gassy/fussiness, if you're hellbent on switching formulas, try Enfamil Nutramigen. EXTREMELY expensive (about $22 to $25 for a 12 oz. can of powder, depending upon where you buy it) but worked wonders for my older son.

my daughter had that when she was a baby. I brest fed and i remember laying her down in her new bed the second day we were home and her trowing up as soon as a layed her down. it came out her nose and we had to suction her to get her to breathe again. this happened ALOT. the doctor recommended adding a little rice ceral to her bottles(because i was unable to brestfeed anymore) and it seemed to help keep her milk down. talk to you doctor about it and see what they say. I would not give them meds for it though.

My baby had the same problem. We were on Zantac from about 4 months until 9 months of age. Sometimes it seemed like it didn't help, but we ended up having to switch to ProSobee from the milk-based. The pediatrcian told me that if the reflux is bothering them bad it will make their nose stuffy and make them not want to eat early in the morning because they've laid flat all night.
