Some of them happen right away (if they happen) and some happen after weeks on the medicine (if they happen). This is not an allergy. The reason that benadryl works to reverse the effects is because of the side effects of benadryl (the same ones that make your mouth a little dry) that counteract the side effects of the reglan.
