i would definately say that is normal. it will take a few days to get your regular appetite back. keep up the prenatal vitimins, fruit, juices.... whatever you can. baby will be fine. if it lasts more than a few days, go back to your doc. best wishes with your baby

I know I am not your doctor, but as a mom who has been through something like that and had hard pregnancies, I would like to suggest, first of all that you keep up with what you are doing, second, can you handle milk type products? If you can I would suggest buying some of those nutritional shakes, it will help. Otherwise keep up with your buillon, try chicken buiilon as well and the soft fruit. Good luck and keep your doctor informed of how you are doing. Your doctor will tell you if there's anything you need to worry about.

your baby is going to get the nutrients he/she needs as long as you are taking your prenatal vitamin and eating healthy when you can eat. If all you can choke down are popsicles, that is fine, and may in fact be better to ensure that you are hydrated. Let your system recover from food poisoning and don't worry about it. When I am nauseated, Edy's whole fruit popsicles have some real fruit in them, and sometimes they are the ONLY things I can keep down, period. Other popsicles make me sick. I can eat Edy's when I can't eat anything else. While they are still mostly sugar, they do have at least some fruit in them, and that makes me feel better.

try to keep hydrated, better take Pedialyte to keep potassium and electrolytes in your body and also try with fruits and food without animal grease, no milk and dairy products for few more days, your baby will have enough nutrients even if you are not taken enough food or vitamins since your body have reserves and keep following whatever your doctor said.

You're welcome!I forgot to tell you to try some peppermint too..either peppermint sticks or those star mints (the little red & white hard candies). Works wonders on stomach aches and upset stomachs (but if the sound of it isn't good to you, nix it for now!).take care! Report Abuse

You are doing good. Keep taking your prenatal vitamin and eat the banana and the Popsicles. If you can keep the bouillon down, that is great. How about some chicken noodle soup?Try some Gatorade or fruit juices. How about some baby food fruits? They usually taste really good. I would graduate to solids very slowly. Once you can keep the soups down, maybe try some saltines, mashed potatoes, mac 'n cheese, grilled cheese, scrambled eggs, etc...but not all in one day. If something sounds good, give it a try.Don't worry about the baby getting enough nutrients. If you are taking your vitamin and staying hydrated the baby will do well. If the baby is not getting the nutrients from what you are eating, it will take the nutrients from your storage and it will be you that will loose out.2 days is not a long time to recover from food poisoning. Just take it slowly because if you rush, you may not be able to keep the food down. When you're pregnant some foods sound so good and others you don't even want to be around, so just go with how you're feeling. If it continues or if you get too worried, call your doc or nurse. That is what they are there for. NEVER be afraid to call them with any question. They are used to it and as I said, that is their jobs.Good luck and hope you will be on the mend very quickly!
