About three years ago I started waking up in middle of night and trying to catch my breath.I started having chest pains below my breast bone and around my heart.I went to doctor and he did gastrology test.Nothing.It continued around times that were stressful like arguing with co workers or other things.I went to hospital two times.They checked my xray and gall bladder nothing.Last year they checked my heart with stress test and the dye exam.Nothing!!!Well im relieved it isnt my heart but I cant figure it out.I have been on everything from nexium to prilosec.I just started taking blood pressure pills because it has gone up since this started.My symptoms include sweaty hands,heavy feeling around breast bone and chest, pain in lower back, light headed……could this be a panic attack.Ive seen 3 doctors so far and nothing.

i was treated for gastraitis while i was four weeks pregnant thou i didnt know i was pregnant then,i was put on nexium which i took for one week two pills daily,when i realized i was pregnant i stoped taking but i cant now find the side effects of nexium in pregnancy, am so depressed i dont know what to expect am 17wks pregnant now, please some one assist me with information on this subject

Doctor claims its acid reflux, but I have been using nexium for over a month and it has not helped.

I just started taking it a few days ago. I’m taking it beacuse of genetics, my whole family has excess stomach acid. It’s been like 4 days and it is working great I definitely recommend it. About 12 hours after I took the first pill my stomach pain stopped and it hasn’t returned since then. I don’t like the idea of being on medication long term or taking a lot of drugs, but if helps, it helps, right? I have not experienced any side effects, it worked great for me. I would definitely give it a try (with your doctor’s permission, of course!)

Works to reduce acid in stomach and from backing up into esophagus…..can also help reduce esophageal ulcers.

I may sign up for insurance that only pays for generics but I take Protonix to block my stomah acid producton.

Are there any side effects that the doctor or information brochure may have failed to mention? Does anyone have any experience with this medication? What is your opinion? Should I be taking this?

I have to take this pill (carafate) on an empty stomach and I can't take it in the morning cuz I take another pill(nexium) that will interact with it. How long can I wait to take my meds? I'm thinking before lunch time.

i'am on nexium in the morning and zantac at night. now my doctor has me on levaquin. was wondering if i can take it with one or the other medications or should i take it by itself.
