I am a 44 year old female. For the last two years, I have had heartburn while sleeping. In the past three months, this has increased to constant heartburn and a feeling of burning in the stomach. Last week I noticed a lump between my lower rib cage. It is painful to the touch. I tested positive and was treated h. pylori four years ago. I went to my primary care two weeks ago, who put me on zantac 150 and tested me for h. pylor, which came back negative. The zantac has reduced the symptoms, but I am still fairly uncomfortable. I am considered slightly overweight on the bmi scale. I am 5′9, 180 pounds. I have had four pregnancies, two surviving children, an emergency ectopic and a miscarriage. Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve just gotten a script for Prevacid. It’s the solutab variety that dissolves on your tongue. The only time i can take it on an empty stomach is in the morning, but i have to take other meds at that time, too? How long after it dissolves, can i take a sip of water to down my other meds?

I was given Nexium by my doctor for my acid reflux plus unexplained stomach pain. If I try not to take it my pains and acid reflux comes back. My question is…can I continue to take this medicine forever with no repercussions?

I am a pet owner to two very sweet 20 week old female kittens.One of them has recently licked or rubbed up against my husband’s work boots which were covered with lime sulphur dust. It has been a day and a half. In that time she has gone from from a spunky, talkative, loving, playful little thing, to a kitten who is so very tired or depressed, vomiting (first white foam, then yellow bile).I took her to the vet this morning. The doctor did some kind of flushing, where there was a bump of fluid on her back that was eventually absorbed into her. And he gave me Carafate, 2 times daily for 2 days. It’s supposed to sooth her stomach.We don’t want to lose her. Is there anything, anything at all that I can do more for her?She has lost weight and right now weighs 4.37 pounds.She isn’t eating, just alittle water and since there are two kittens, I cannot tell if she has gone to the bathroom at all. I have been watching her like crazy.I checked online for any and all info, but I can’t find anything on ingesting lime sulphur.I emailed the ASPCA poison control about it, but have not heard back. I cannot afford to call and speak with them at the moment, as they charge 55.00 per call.Is there anyone here that might know something, anything at all???I just need to know if this is fatal, is there a slim chance she can get through this and if so, how can I help her do so.Thank you so much for your time. It is much appreciated.

what do you do for it or take? I have it so bad that my food dosent go down, when i burp mouth fulls of food come back up, i stay sick (nausiated ) i get chest pains fron it. I’ve been to a stomach doctor and i’ve been put on just about everything (protonix, acifex made me throw up sick) zantac didn’t work, previcaid gave me an upset stomach for 15 days, lost 11 pounds) and now he just put me on nexium friday, and it’s making me feel sick and a nervious weak feel. ( i also have other health problems diabetic, IBS, Lactose intollerence. i don’t know what else to do for it, I can’t eat without getting sick and it’s got my blood sugars going crazy. any suggestions please let me know.

Ive been to my doctor 6 times in 3 months and there is still no answer. Everytime i eat, my stomach hurts in the left upper quadrant and I get nauseous and dizzy, My doctor says it could be IBS and he also gave me prevacid, but nothing works. I cant eat without feeling sick then going to the bathroom less than 3 hours after eating. Can someone help me understand what this could be and what to bring up to my doctor? I thought it could be my gallbladder or pancreas, he even tested me for helicobacter pylori, but alas nothing.Please help?!

then prolisc i been on prolisc for 6 years i tryed protonix now its better my stomach. gerd amd h pylori sucks has anyone ever had h pylori before because i had it 3 times ages 9 18 19. im cured but i like protonix better now

My doctor prescribed Reglan for me for vomiting and a slow stomach. I’m also on Carafate for an ulcer and Zegerid for reflux. I was given the Reglan in the hospital but it was in an IV and I can remember it made me really jittery and I couldn’t sleep. Is this the kind of side effect that goes away with time?

the doctor perscribed me Bentyl and it is doing nothing, my stomach is killing me? Someone help!!!!
